Asumbi Teachers Training College is a public registered Teachers Training College formally established through the effort of Catholic Church in 1936. It is sponsored by the Ministry of Education, specifically the State Department of Basic Education Act 2013. The college's main responsibility is to train teachers for primary schools, covering early childhood to senior primary levels. It has a mandate to provide the required leadership in designing suitable plans and strategies that will contribute to high and sustainable social economic development.
